At Nottingham Ranch, we raise Gelbvieh and Balancer cattle designed to serve both registered seedstock breeders and commercial cattlemen nationwide. Located in Sulphur Springs, Texas, our family-operated ranch focuses on producing cattle with real-world performance, maternal strength, docility, and predictable results.

Our roots began in commercial cattle. After introducing Gelbvieh influence into our herd, we immediately noticed improvements in weaning weights, daily gain, cow efficiency, and calm temperament. These advantages reshaped our breeding philosophy and ultimately led to the development of our registered Gelbvieh and Balancer program.

Today, our herd is built on disciplined sire selection, strong cow families, genomic data, and a commitment to helping breeders and ranchers strengthen their programs.
